This policy explains what personal data Hustle Den Pvt Ltd ("Den Zero", "we") collects through hustledenindia.com, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Team members: full name, college, course and year, email address, phone number, date of birth and (optionally) LinkedIn profile.
- Team lead: WhatsApp number and email address.
- Your startup: idea name, stage, problem, solution, audience, progress, ideal investor, and your pitch deck.
- Payment: Razorpay gives us the payment ID, amount and payment status. We never receive or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details; Razorpay handles those under its own privacy policy.
- Technical: your IP address, used briefly to prevent abuse of the registration form.
Why we use it
- To process your registration and payment.
- To check eligibility and evaluate your submission.
- To contact you on WhatsApp and email about shortlisting, mentor calls and event logistics.
- To share your submission with evaluators, mentors and investors for the event.
Who we share it with
- Evaluators, mentors and investors involved in Den Zero see your startup details and pitch deck, and may see team members' names and colleges.
- Razorpay processes your payment.
- Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep registration data and pitch decks for up to 12 months after the edition you registered for, then delete them. We keep payment records as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Pitch decks and admin data are accessible only to authorised organisers. Payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent. Write to us using the details on our Contact page. Withdrawing consent before an event may mean we can no longer evaluate your submission.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
